Snack Time at the Academy is a series of quick lessons for Designers On-the-Go!!

Snack Times are 15-30 minute long webinar style discussions. In this week's Snack Time, we will discuss the effects of elevation on the hydraulic calculation of sprinkler systems.

We will use NFPA 13 (2019 Edition and Previous) and every day science show you how elevation can dramatically effect the discharge from sprinklers. We will discuss the standards used by the Academy to consistently account for changes in the elevation of pipes and sprinklers.
